The PROMIS Network

UWCORR is a member of the Patient-Reported Outcome Measurement Information System (PROMIS) network and works collaboratively with five research sites and the Statistical Coordinating Center on the projects adopted by the network. Network projects are aimed at the development of a web-based item bank that could be used by clinical researchers to select and implement psychologically sound measures of patient reported outcomes. UWCORR leads the network efforts in improving measurement of pain in children and adults

The PROMIS network is funded by the National Institutes of Health ( NIH ) as part of the NIH Roadmap for Medical Research, and is managed by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases ( NIAMS ). For more information, go to:
